Professional Experience

She has focused her practice on tax advice to domestic and foreign companies with more than twenty years of experience in the field. Currently, she leads the accounting and tax team of the firm, and is responsible for providing tax consultancy services for large projects, support in tax audits for the Uruguayan Treasury, preparation of tax and accounting due diligence reports, review and tax advice in the structuring of financial models, tax audits, and presentation of investment projects before COMAP (Investment Law Enforcement Commission) and other institutions.

Academic Experience and Conference Presentations

Public Accountant, graduate from the School of Economics, Universidad de la República (Uruguay). Postgraduate Degree in Taxation, Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Professor of Tax Legislation and Technique - School of Economics and Administration of  Universidad de la República and Professor of Introduction to Accounting at the same School. Educational activity in courses, seminars and postgraduate courses for professionals, institutions such as Universidad Católica del Uruguay (Diploma in Finance and Specialization in Taxation), at Centro de emprendimientos Universidad de Montevideo and at IEEM's MBA. Member of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies (IUET) and of the Association of Accountants, Economists and Administrators of Uruguay (CCEAU).

Publications and Books

Author of numerous tax articles published in the supplement " Economy and Market" of the newspaper "El País", in the magazine "En Obra", in Consultax and in Deloitte's Newsletter.
