Professional Experience
Cristina joins Estudio Bragard as an external consultant, bringing with her a solid track record and wide recognition in commercial, corporate, business, and contract law, both nationally and internationally.
A founding partner of the OPH Law Firm, she has more than 15 years of experience working as a consultant and litigator in commercial law, corporate law, contract law, and comprehensive business consulting.
Specialist in regulatory frameworks, she has provided extensive advice in the telecommunications market, participating in the drafting of Law No. 17,520 on criminal offenses related to the theft of pay-TV signals, and in initiatives aimed at combating piracy. She has also been involved in bidding processes for digital terrestrial television in Montevideo.
He continuously advises companies in various sectors, with a special emphasis on Public Law, Telecommunications and Audiovisual Services, Agribusiness, Construction and Assembly, Commercial and Corporate Law, and International Land Transport, among other relevant areas of practice.
He also has outstanding experience in litigation, having advised international land transport associations, including the Transport Circle and CATIDU, with a focus on economic sectors regulated by international treaties such as the ATIT. He has also been actively involved in the supervision and auditing of commercial contracts, especially in the construction sector, participating in negotiations, contract execution, and compliance control. In this context, he developed a construction management system that has yielded objectively measurable results in terms of litigation prevention.
In the area of telecommunications, he obtained a declaration of unconstitutionality of Law No. 19,307, regarding the prohibition imposed on cable operators to operate as internet service providers.

During her career, she has taken several courses on topics relevant to law, such as Securities, Aligning Human Resources with Business Strategy, Commercial Companies, Advanced Negotiations, and Advanced Artificial Intelligence and Law, to name a few.
Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Economic Administrative Law, University of Montevideo. Economic Regulation Law, Market Law, Environmental Policy, Administrative Responsibility, Global Law and Technology, Telecommunications and Information Society, Technology and Digital Applications.
